The 2nd International Warsaw Salsa Festival

Dance workshops

From Friday to Sunday (10th to 12th Nov) over 50 dance classes will take place. One of the best known and most respected instructors from United States, Cuba, Canada, France, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Spain and Poland will be teaching you salsa in 4 groups ranging from absolute beginners' level to advanced salsero's classes.

During the preceding week Salsa Libre will organize Open Salsa Days. Those who have never danced salsa before are invited to participate in free dance classes and learn basic salsa steps. This will prepare you for the Festival's classes and help you enjoy the event to the full. Also, for these participants we have thought of a special price offer for a Full Pass - a package of all workshops and parties.

During workshops you will have the chance to learn partner-work, footwork combinations and body movement. The special rhythm and instrument classes as well as the traditional, ethnic afrocuban dance workshops will help you understand salsa music and culture more thoroughly.

Festival's Parties

The dance workshops will be accompanied by 4 Gala parties. Among other highlights we will be presenting:
- shows of the world famous dance groups and instructors teaching at the Festival
- shows of the best Polish dance groups
- live music: Cuban ethnic music accompanied by a dance presentation of afrocuban rumba by Cuban dancers
- excellent DJs from Puerto Rico and Poland
